About us
The school was closed but it is still at the heart of the community.
Although the old school has closed its doors, the building remains at the heart of life in Carreglefn. Today, it is a welcoming place where people of all ages come together to learn, socialise and enjoy activities.
Our story - a journey through the years
The centre has seen many changes over the years, but it's purpose remains and that is to serve the local community.

Our Centre Today
Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, the support of Mechell Community Council and the local community, together with grant funding, the Centre continues to develop. Renovation work has improved the building, which is now used for a wide range of activities and events, offering facilities for everyone.
